I am getting frustrated with all the fanarts of Rouge here on dA where she looks and acts like a whore all because she is curvy . It is already bad enough that her dubbed voice sounds like a 50 year old smoking prostitute. -_-'
-So here I am submitting Shadouge fanart that does some justice.
I drew this many months ago but didn't feel like scanning it until recently. Oh yes I was feeling lazy...so lazy that I didn't even draw in Rouge's bat wings.

Why I Love Shadow x Rouge? (now time for a good old rant)

<sub>1) Shadow smiles a lot at Rouge and treats her with respect, They are teammates/Friends/Allies/Companions...etc.

2) For some unknown reason...Rouge reminds Shadow of his friend Maria, he loved Maria. He even called Rouge Maria at one point... O.o

3) Knuckles ONLY saved Rouge ONE time while Shadow CONSTANTLY saves Rouge's life; Rouge saved Shadow twice

4) When Rouge provokes Knuckles, and Knuckles gets in her face about it, Shadow watches Knuckle's EVERY move, giving him quite the Death Glare.
(LOL Does that mean Sega is trying to start a love triangle?)

5) In Sonic Battle, Shadow gets hurt by a stupid robot and becomes unconscious Rouge takes him to her house after she destroys the robot "You're still alive right, Shadow...?" she becomes concerned with his condition but then compliments his appearance. "He's not bad looking..." LOL
When Shadow wakes up, Rouge says "Yes! Good morning, Shadow! Has the prince finally awakened?" She calls him a prince.
When Shadow doesn't thank her yet, Rouge gets upset and starts talking about how all men are alike. Shadow then turns to her and thanks her, not only that but states WHY he thanks her. "Thanks, Rouge... Thanks for saving me. I cannot allow myself to die just yet."

6) Even though Rouge is supposed to be extremely selfish, greedy, and only care about herself, she puts aside her jewel hunt just to help Shadow in anyway she can. Also she often worries about Shadow's safety but tries to deny it when in front of Dr. Robotnik/Eggman.

7) Rouge becomes rather sad when she thinks there is a possibility that Shadow is really a robot clone ( her ears go down in sadness) But when Omega tells her the original must exist somewhere her ears perk up and she smiles.

8)Rouge tells Shadow " Even if you believe the world will turn against you...know that I will always remain by your side." Remember that.
His reply "I will"

9) Way back in Sonic adventure 2, after Shadow finds out that Rouge was actually spying on him they sounded like they were playing around with their words and simply having a flirtatious verbal spar! LOL
--Rouge is also the first person to ask where Shadow was after the A.R.K. battle.
Sonic gives Rouge Shadow's bracelet, which really does symbolize she was the closest.
Rouge shows the most emotion after shadow's "death", and she did think about him...When Knuckles(her crush) asks her if she's going to continue hunting for the chaos emeralds.
Rouge looks at Shadow's bracelet and says "I have something better then jewels that I'm thinking about right now".

10) In Shadow's awesome character song "This Machine", he says Rouge is a "Jewel in History" and "Miss her as you look away and no one knows"

...I know it is offically stated that Rouge has a crush on Knuckles but a crush is only a crush it also says she ADMIRES his determination. I still cannot cope with the idea of how Rouge likes that Knuckles puts his fists up every time she walks in the same room as him...they are SO HOSTILE towards each other. I think Rouge really does like being physically abused by a guy,in Sonic next gen....Knuckles wants her to stay behind so she can die in the lava. I'm sorry KnucklesxRouge fans but I don't find it cute when a guy beats a girl but then again if that your kinda thing that you are into then kudos to you. XD</sub>
